OVERVIEW
In this sermon series, we are exploring "three simple rules" for living the Christian life. John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, originated the rules, and they’ve been adapted into a short but powerful book, entitled Three Simple Rules by Rueben Job. The sermons explore how truely profound the rules are, and offer practical tools and tips for living out the rule. This sermon looks at Wesley's third rule: Stay in love with God. Wesley advocated regular practices or “disciplines” that keep our relationship with God vital, alive and growing. He encouraged his followers to worship, to read scripture and pray daily, and to meet regularly in small groups to encourage and support one another.
