Volunteer Opportunities

Are you artistic? - Do you have some ideas about how we can make the sanctuary more visually appealing so that we can better facilitate worship? Can you sew and would be interested in helping to create worship banners? We are looking for people with an eye for beauty or an interest in arts to join our Worship Arts team.

Baristas needed! – We need some friendly faces to greet people and make sure that we have coffee and treats ready after worship. If you can brew a pot of coffee and would like to help us be hospitable, please consider serving once a month before or after worship at the Coffee Café.

Looking for ways to serve?
Weekend opportunities include: serving Communion, ushering at worship, Coffee Café volunteer, teaching with the Children’s Ministry, nursery, worship media operator and more!

Week day opportunities include: Children’s classroom bin supply filler, administrative team, prayer note-writer, Student Ministry mentors and more!

Consider serving at the Connection Point. Connection Point Consultants help link our congregants into the body of Christ at Resurrection through programming and service opportunities. Training is provided, and you’ll serve once per month for a two-hour shift before and after the worship service of your choice.

Infants, Crawlers, and Walkers, Oh My! Our congregation is growing as new babies are born in our congregation every month! To help care for these little ones, we need additional volunteers in the Rez West nursery. Will you help us care for our youngest congregants by serving in the nursery once a month or periodically as a substitute? We would welcome you to serve during either worship time.

Prayer Note Writers – This is a great blessing to those who come to us for prayer! Write handwritten notes of encouragement in response to prayer requests. Note writers receive email assignments each week, and mail notes when they are completed. Stationary and envelopes are provided.

Simon’s Crew is the group of volunteers who help make this portable church possible. We unload the equipment and set it up every Sunday morning, then take it down and reload it every Sunday afternoon. We are in dire need of some fresh helpers! There are four teams with immediate openings. You can serve every other week for just a couple of hours, and get a free t-shirt.

Joy In Service Holiday Missions. If you like getting people organized to serve in the community, consider helping with Joy In Service, our holiday missions program. We will have a table in the Multi-Purpose Room with opportunities for people to serve, and we need some helpers to get it organized and to staff it. This is a vital part that enables us to serve our community this Christmas.
