6th Grade Summer Camp

August 2-7, 2010  This camp is for students entering 6th grade fall 2010 and adult leaders.

What is the cost?  $395.00 covers lodging, meals and devotional materials for the week.  There is an additional fee for ATV rentals (must be 12 or older) and paintball.  A $90.00 deposit is due at the time of registration

How many spots are available?  We have reserved a total of 48 spots for males and 32 spots for females.

Where is the camp?  YouthFront West is located just outside of Edgerton, Kansas.

Is there transportation?  Students need to arrange their own transportation to and from the camp; no transportation is provided.

When do we arrive and leave camp?  Check-in for camp begins at 1:00 pm on Monday afternoon in the Dining Hall. A line forms prior to check-in, so plan accordingly.  There will be a parent meeting at 9:00 am in the Dining Hall followed by closing worship with the students at 9:30 am.  Pick-up is at 10:00 am on Saturday morning

What are the accommodations?  YouthFront has cabins that consist of 4 rooms per cabin (each with 2 bunk beds) and then a separate room in the cabin for the two cabin leaders to share.
Each cabin has its own restroom with showers.  There are small lockers available to lock up any personal items. (You will need to provide a lock as they are not provided or available for sale.)

Do students have to be a member of The Church of the Resurrection to attend?  Summer camp is for all students whether they are members of our church, another church, or for some this is the first time that they come to know Jesus Christ.

Are there forms that need to be completed prior to camp?  A rezlife consent form, YouthFront medical release form and ATV permission form will need to be completed. You will complete them as part of the registration process. 

When will I receive information about the week of camp (directions, what to bring, guidelines, themes, and so forth)?  Information will be available mid-March.
