God’s Love in Action

What is FaithWork?

FaithWork provides a meaningful way to serve God by serving those in need. Everyone is welcome to participate as we go out into our community to serve. Choose from a large variety of projects that typically last two to four hours. We offer family-friendly service opportunities, so children are welcome to join us. To help provide items needed to run FaithWork, please see the Collections Page.

When Does FaithWork Meet?

FaithWork meets the first and third Saturdays of the month at 9am at Resurrection West. No need to register - just show up.

Ongoing FaithWork Projects at Resurrection West

Homeless Mats

Make a Sleeping Mat for the homeless in the KC Metro area. These mats provide protection from the elements when people are sleeping on the ground. The mats are made entirely from plastic grocery bags.

Lunch Sacks

Children can help decorate and fill Lunch Sacks for the homeless. The lunches will be delivered to Uplift Organization in Downtown Kansas City.

Mission Southside

An off-site project located in Olathe, KS. Mission Southside needs volunteers to work in their warehouse sorting donations and organizing the food pantry.
