Serving Within the Church

Many opportunities are available for you to serve at Resurrection West. From the Nursery to the Tech Team, we'll help you find a place to use your gifts and talents - or even to discover what those gifts are. 

Whether you are looking for a place to volunteer once a month, or you would like to get deeply connected in a leadership role at Resurrection West, we welcome you to serve God in this community.

1. "Red Coater"

   Serve in a key volunteer role: help answer phones, update attendance notebooks and be faithful in welcoming people to our church. Days and times are flexible. Contact Stacey Kelter.

2. Worship Bulletins

   Fridays at 1 pm
   Enjoy fellowship while you serve the church! Help prepare worship bulletins for the Sunday services.

3. Technical Production

   Our Technical Production Ministry Team provides lighting, graphics and audio support for our Sunday worship services and mid-week programming. No experience is needed - training provided. If you enjoy working with high-tech toys and helping create an amazing worship experience, please contact Shawn Simpson, Technical Arts and Operations Director. 

4. Greeter

   Be the first to say, "We're glad you're here!" to our members and guests coming to worship at Resurrection West. Worship greeters are asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of worship. Flexible scheduling options include serving once a month, an entire month or however it fits into your schedule.

   Please contact Andrew Conard, Associate Pastor, to volunteer to serve as a greeter.

5. Usher

   Join our remarkable usher team, volunteering with a smile once a month (or more) at any of our three worship services at 9 am, 10:45 am or 5 pm. This important ministry helps us to provide a welcoming environment for our members and guests. Ushers hand out bulletins, help people to find seats and pass the attendance notebooks and offering plates during worship.
   Training is provided!

1. KiDS COR

   Visit our KiDS COR page for information on how you can share the love of Jesus with children in our congregation.

   Contact Vicki Holdman, Children's Ministry Program Director, to volunteer to serve in KiDS COR.

2. Nursery

   Help care for and nurture the youngest members of God's Kingdom. We provide child care for children from birth to age 3 in our nursery during the 9 am and 10:45 am worship services.
