What do you do here at Resurrection?
I am the Campus Pastor at Resurrection West in Olathe. I direct our Mission Ministries, Student Ministries and Pastoral Care programs as well as participate in worship leadership each Sunday. I also periodically join the worship team at Central Campus for the Sunday evening worship service.

When did you begin working at Resurrection?
I joined the Resurrection staff in May of 2005 as a Pastoral Intern in Congregational Care during my final year of seminary.

What is your favorite food?
Does diet coke count as food?

What was your first job?
Sales Associate at Limited Too

What was your childhood ambition?
I wanted to be a doctor from an early age. More specifically, I wanted to be a surgeon. I was a pre-med Biology major at Baylor headed for med school until God called me into full-time ministry as a pastor.

Who inspires you?
I'm not really inspired by any particular person but rather hundreds of friends, pastors, teachers, writers, family members, and peers who truly love what they do and make it their life's goal to serve God in everything.

What makes you laugh?
Sometimes I take life a little too seriously, but a funny movie or my husband Ben can usually get me to laugh!

Painting, working in the yard, spending time with family and friends, playing with my dog Duke

Philippians 2:1-11

What is one of your favorite characteristics of Christ?
I think it is amazing that Jesus Christ is both a very near friend and the holy, divine savior.
